RS-MS1A 1.4.0

The RS-MS1A application enables Android devices to remotely access select D-STAR and DV mode functions of compatible D-STAR transceivers.

[Features]

• DR functions: Access the transceiver’s DR functions.
• Share pictures: Send and receive voice and images.
• Text messaging: Send and receive text messages.
• Map: View repeater site or station locations on a map, automatically set "FROM" and "TO" fields by tapping on the map.
• Offline Map: Utilize maps without an internet connection.
• Receive History: Read and edit received stations' information in DV mode, download additional data from Internet databases.
• Call Sign list: Edit call signs and names, add new call signs and names to the list.
• Repeater list: Access detailed data stored in the Repeater list.
• Transceiver settings: Modify select transceiver function settings.
• Application settings: Adjust application software settings.
• Import/Export: Import/export Repeater lists, Call Sign lists, and Receive History.

[Preparation]

• To use RS-MS1A, compatible transceivers require either an internal Bluetooth unit or a data cable; refer to the transceiver's manual for detailed information.

Note:

• The application may not function with all Android devices due to potential conflicts with existing apps.
• You might need additional file management and image processing software.
• Your Android device must support USB host function to communicate via data cable; even if supported, compatibility issues may arise.
• Internet connectivity through various networks may be required for some features.
• - Further Notes:

The program only supports portrait orientation, no Auto Rotate feature is available.

• To conserve power, disconnect the data cable when not in use.
• • The program may freeze under specific conditions; restart if necessary.

- Power Supply Note: - Adjust power settings on the Application Settings screen if USB terminal power is interrupted during display sleep/power-saving modes.- Set baud rate over 9600 bps if data loss occurs when transmitting at 4800 bps.
